Goodness... so much drama. All that cryin’ and whinin’ don’t look good on anybody. I’ve never seen such a show before. The tantrums lately have been pretty epic.

And that’s how I got you all to look at my journal entry about my 5 year old having a meltdown because I told her no and it hurt her feelings. XD
She’s such a little drama princess. Gets it from her father.

lol..my daughter threw one when i called her my baby when she was 9 years old she looked at me and said i,m not a baby shes now 23 years old and has a child of her own and on her second baby

Forgot my phone at home yesterday and most of today. Of course, not a single person messaged or called. But when I’m busy they suddenly pop up out of the woodwork wanting to talk to me. It was nice to have a break from social media though. I’m now at work and it’s been a bit hectic. Typing small bits of this at a time in the lulls. Lol! Still liking this job though. Getting to know all the faces that come through. Horrible with names but I’m trying.

The pilots that come through here are sweethearts! One brought us a pizza. Another brought us cookies. One brought in some sweet corn. Said he’d accidentally left it in his car and it’d go bad before he got back in town so he thought we’d like it. I’m loving my job.

Smoking is such a bad and expensive habit. I really ought to stop. Had to bum one bc I’ve been smoking a pack a day and ran out yesterday. Was having withdrawals. Cranky. Tired. Irritable. And I’m not sleeping well on top of all that. Being a single mother on 3rd shift is hard. She’s turning 5 next month. Doesn’t quite understand that Mommy needs naps during the day so I get maybe an hour or two a day before crashing on the weekends when I’m off.

“You’re always so smiley in the morning. And so early too. It’s nice. Please tell me this is going to be your regular shift.”

I’d be lying if I said I didn’t like the compliments and attention from the pilots coming through here. They’re all so nice. Especially to a female that greets them with a smile and ‘good mornin’. I aint too bad lookin either, if I’m allowed to toot my own horn for a minute. My bf thinks it’s funny. And a bit sexist. He doesn’t get anywhere near the attention I do when he does the same. He aint wrong... but hey, whatever keeps these guys happy. They’re cranky and tired from flying all over the place. If seeing a cute female makes them a little less cranky vs a buff guy then I’m happy to oblige. XD

Ok so now one of the perks of my job... Everyone that comes through here is so nice. I’ve already been complimented on my hair and my smile. And one mentioned how me and my coworker are a great team. Someone else said we’re the most polite shift. I’m all smiles. It’s nice to feel appreciated at your job.

The only thing that sucks about 3rd shift? The quiet. Everyone I know is asleep so no one to talk to really. The people coming through my station are here for a split second so there’s no conversation other than “Hi. How are you? Have a nice day.”

*overheard in the bathroom at the gym*

Girl 1: I swear I’m just not getting anywhere. What am I doing wrong?
Girl 2: Want me to be honest? You’ve been here an hour and no sweat, perfect makeup, perfect hair...
Girl 1: so..... what? I can’t leave here looking like you. Gross. Lol!
Girl 2: Why are we even friends?...
Girl 1: oh come on. It was just a joke. Seriously though, you sweat too much. Shower. We’re going shopping after this.

I think Girl 2 needs a new friend. Poor thing...

You just can't beat getting paid to sit on your ass and do practically nothing. Yet some people still choose to complain. Sure, the hours are long but is it really necessary to constantly reiterate how much you'd like to be at home? To do what? Still sit on your ass and watch the same shows on Netflix that you do at work? The only difference being that you have a uniform and occasionally have to push a button? Oh wow, whoop-di-frickin-do! You can always tell those who've had it good and don't appreciate anything in their lives. I, for one, am perfectly happy with this job. Even if I'm tired and can't wait to crawl in bed, it's not due to a lack of appreciation. Be grateful for what you have, people.

So I'm not entirely sure how to go about even adding basic html to my profile. I use to know it years ago but now I'm completely lost. Can someone help me by pointing me to a good website to use or help pages? Anything? Maybe it's because it's so early here but my brain is barely working and I can't find jack on my own right now. Also, which site is good for adding pictures?

Is there a coven where I won’t have to do much? I’m already being asked if I have a preference and have been told that some have requirements for being online? To anyone interested in inducting me (not that most would be since my profile doesn’t look like much atm) I can’t guarantee how often I’ll be online. Between work and trying to take care of my daughter during a custody battle with my ex, my time is pretty well taken up. I just don’t want to be a burden to anyone and be shuffled around. I’d rather be put in a place I can stay and not have to worry.

Gym time is me time. I love coming here. Except today apparently. I was doing great and gettin that high until I ran out of steam. My sugar crashed earlier this morning. Thinking that has something to do with it. Oh well. My bestie and adopted family are coming to visit me today so yay! The day is not over yet.

Do people even say noob anymore? I haven’t really done anything social in a while. My facebook is full of nothing but memes even. I talk to a couple friends and they live nowhere near me so actually spending time with them is a no go. One such friend convinced me to join here.
